Come and run with us in 2024

Whether you’re new to Brighton and Hove, been here for years, there’s never been a better time to come for a run with us.

Come and meet new people and (re)find your running mojo with Brighton and Hove Women’s Club.

Simply complete the following guest runner form. See you soon!

Some of our club members are joining in with RED January this 2024.

It’s to encourage more of us to run, walk, skip, dance, try no sports and move a little more each day.

Find out what RED January is all about here.

This winter we took part in each X Country races around the county.

We travelled up together and cheered each other on along the way.

Some of us take part in every year and others came for the first time, taking on the mud, hills and with big smiles at the end.

Come and join us for a HiiT training session to build your strength and support your running goals. And have fun while doing it.

You’re welcome to do as little or much as you like, as quick or slow as you feel comfortable.

We’re all in it together! (Included in your Club membership)

In October we held our AGM for all members.

We relived the highlights of 2023, thanked the outgoing committee, welcomed in the new committee and enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

We also held our annual awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements and success of many of our club members including inspirational runner of the year, top newcomer and best running route of the year.

Most of our weekday runs take place in the evening, but every week (without fail) there’s a group of us who head out at 7am to fit in a run before work.

We often stay for coffee after, and there’s always a chance to turn around sooner so whether you’re training or just getting back from injury, you’re always welcome.

See you there!

This summer our club runners have been trying yoga to support their running training

We’re lucky to have a qualified yoga teacher in our club who has been offering free inclusive yoga sessions each Friday.

A great way for us to increase our fitness and recovery, thanks to @yogawithtilda

40 runners signed up for our Beginners and Return to Run course

We’re excited to support them each week on their running journey as they build up to running their first 5k parkrun in July

Over 20 club members volunteered at the Rise 8K as well as many members taking part in the popular women-only race

Rise is an independent, Brighton-based registered charity that helps people affected by domestic abuse.

BHWRC was awarded ‘Club of the Month’ by Women’s Running Magazine.

Recognised for our inclusivity, supportive running environment and excellent sessions, we were delighted to be featured as the club of the month.

Fancy joining us? Get in touch and we hope you can join us on a run soon.
