Volunteering and Running

Each year we support our friends at Rise as runners take on the 8K race and we filled the course with our brilliant volunteers.

No doubt you saw them along the seafront, heard the cowbells ringing or ran/walked along side them.

See you next year

Getting together for our Annual Event

This month we hosted our AGM and Awards night.

An evening packed with delicious food, good company and celebrating the achievements of so many of our Club Members together at Rockwater

Starting Soon

Come and join a friendly and supportive group to help you train to run a 5K.

Whether you’ve never run before or you’ve been meaning to get back into it, we’ll help you get back up and running.

Sign up and join us, fill out this form.

Did you see us at the water station?

We had an amazing turnout of 30+ volunteers coming down to Brighton’s Madeira Drive to keep the 13,000 runners hydrated.

And yes we did this with just 6 jugs. Despite the windy and challenging conditions iur superstar team made sure every runner got a drink – if they wanted one.

We’ll be back next year!

Come and run with us in 2024

Whether you’re new to Brighton and Hove, been here for years, there’s never been a better time to come for a run with us.

Come and meet new people and (re)find your running mojo with Brighton and Hove Women’s Club.

Simply complete the following guest runner form. See you soon!

Some of our club members are joining in with RED January this 2024.

It’s to encourage more of us to run, walk, skip, dance, try no sports and move a little more each day.

Find out what RED January is all about here.

This winter we took part in each X Country races around the county.

We travelled up together and cheered each other on along the way.

Some of us take part in every year and others came for the first time, taking on the mud, hills and with big smiles at the end.

Come and join us for a HiiT training session to build your strength and support your running goals. And have fun while doing it.

You’re welcome to do as little or much as you like, as quick or slow as you feel comfortable.

We’re all in it together! (Included in your Club membership)

In October we held our AGM for all members.

We relived the highlights of 2023, thanked the outgoing committee, welcomed in the new committee and enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

We also held our annual awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements and success of many of our club members including inspirational runner of the year, top newcomer and best running route of the year.

Most of our weekday runs take place in the evening, but every week (without fail) there’s a group of us who head out at 7am to fit in a run before work.

We often stay for coffee after, and there’s always a chance to turn around sooner so whether you’re training or just getting back from injury, you’re always welcome.

See you there!
